BMW 116i By Hartge

If you have a BMW 116i hatchback sitting in your garage, you might consider driving it to Hartge as the tuner has developed an upgrade program for this model. The standard version of the car has a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter gasoline engine that benefits from the direct injection technology and pumps out 134 hp at 4,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 162 lb.-ft (220 Nm) reached between 1,350 rpm and 4,300 rpm.

By remapping the ECU of the car, Hartge can increase the output of the engine to 169 hp at 4,400 rpm and 195 lb.-ft (265 Nm) at 2,000 rpm. The aftermarket specialist did not say how long does it take to do the 0-62 mph sprint, but they did mention that the acceleration from 50 to 112 mph is now done seven seconds quicker than before, standing at 20.63 seconds. The top speed of this BMW 116i tuned by Hartge has remained the same so you won’t get pass 131 mph (210 km/h).

Aside from the remapping of the ECU, Hartge also offers 19-inch alloy wheels, bespoke floor mats, stainless steel exhaust pipes, a lowered sports suspension and aluminum pedals.
