Ford B-Max available on order in UK, priced at 12,995 pounds

The Blue Oval has announced the price list for the all-new B-MAX which is now available on order in the United Kingdom, while deliveries will start this September.  The base version of the car costs 12,995 pounds which means that it is 400 pounds more affordable than the Fiesta, while the top-spec Titanium version starts from 17,595 pounds.

The new Ford B-MAX is available in three trim levels: Studio, Zetec and Titanium. The Studio comes with the company’s 1.4-liter Duratec engine that delivers 89 hp and is linked to a 5-speed manual transmission. As standard, the car packs front, knee, side and curtain airbags, along with ESP and tire-pressure monitors.

The mid-range Zetec is available with a choice of three gasoline engines, beginning with the frugal 1.0-liter EcoBoost that generates 99 hp. Also available is an all-new 1.5-liter diesel. This version of the Ford B-MAX rides on 15-inch alloys, front fog lights and LED DLRs. Inside it has a steering wheel wrapped around in leather, air conditioning, heated windscreen, leather-wrapped gearknob, DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity.

As far as the top-spec Titanium version is concerned, this is available with three power units, beginning with the aforementioned 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine but in this version it delivers 118 hp. There’s also a 1.6-liter diesel borrowed from the Fiesta which produces 94 hp. The Ford B-MAX Titanium has 16-inch alloy wheels, gloss grille surrounds, cruise control, climate control, start button, heated seats, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlights.

Customers can choose from one of the 11 colors available, while all versions of the B-MAX have body-colored bumpers, remote central locking and flat-folding seats.

The car is going to be manufactured at Ford’s factory in Craiova, Romania.
