The GT500 has always been one of my favorite muscle cars since the epic movie “Gone in 60 seconds”, starring Nicholas Cage. Well, it seems that Elanor is back in 2011, courtesy of GeigerCars. Dubbed the Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 Golden Snake, it comes with an exquisite matte gold exterior look, along with a carbon fiber bonnet, a front lip spoiler and extended side skirts.

They’ve fitted the car with an adjustable H&R sports suspension and big 20-inch alloy rims, wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber.

Under that carbon hood, you’ll find a V8 5.4-liter engine that has been fitted with a supercharger, along with a revised ECU and a stainless steel sport exhaust system. All of these upgrades add up to a total power output of 631 hp (640 PS / 471 kW) and 582 lb.-ft (789 Nm).

This additional power available allows the car to do the 0-62 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).

All of the components are going to be available for purchase individually, but the demo model can be yours for $125,475 (89,000 Euros).
