GM saw 193 vehicles (0.9%) returned during its 60 day money back guarantee program

I’m sure most of you were quite skeptic about GM’s new 60 day money back guarantee promotion, which let anyone buy a new Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet or GMC model and if they weren’t pleased with it, could then return it in 60 days.

But at least according to the company’s Vice president of global product engineering, Mark Reuss, it is quite successful, as from the 222,000 customers only 193 (that’s 0.9%) opted to return their cars. According to the representative, 53 have already been sent back to dealers, while 140 are still in the process.

He also revealed that all of the customers would be interviewed in order to find out just what wasn’t right with the GM models they preferred. But Reuss also highlighted that some people took the chance to swap between various editions of the car, as with a man which traded his new Cadillac SRX with a more expensive one.
