Hyundai i40 Sedan Revealed
Just a few days ago the Korean automaker Hyundai released a sketch of its upcoming i40 Sedan and now they’ve officially unveiled the model at the Barcelona Motor Show. The car follows the company’s “Fluidic Design” paradigm but for this one they’ve took it to another level and I have to say that they’ve did a pretty good job, despite the fact that it looks a little bit like one of its main rivals, the Ford Mondeo.
Under that hood we should expect to see a direct-injection Theta II 2.0-liter engine that produces 175 hp (177 PS / 130 kW) and 157 lb.-ft (213 Nm). A 1.7-liter diesel will be available in two power output configurations: 113 hp (115 PS / 84 kW) / 188 lb.-ft (255 Nm) of torque, along with a more powerful 133 hp (136 PS / 100 kW).
The Hyundai i40 Sedan will get clever stuff like a lane-departure warning system, Bluetooth phone connection, rear-view camera (with smart-parking assistance), along with air-ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
