Mini Roadster priced from 18,020 pounds

The entry-level Mini Roadster is going to cost 18,020 pounds in the United Kingdom when it will go on sale later on this month. This two-seat Roadster would have to be the sixth model in the Mini range and it will stand next to the Coupe, Countryman, Clubman, Convertible and the Hatch.

Much like the Coupe model, the all-new Mini Roadster is available with a choice of four power units, out of which three are gasoline units while the other one is a diesel. The three gasoline engines are the one found in the Cooper, Cooper S and the top-spec JCW model, generating 120 hp, 181 hp and 208 hp, respectively. As for the 2.0-liter diesel engine, this pumps out 141 hp and allows the car to return 62.8 mpg UK.

Mini Roadster

As standard, the Mini Roadster comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox while for more money clients can opt for the 6-speed automatic transmission. Keep in mind that the hot John Cooper Works model is available exclusively with a manual setup.

Some of the standard goodies that you get with the new Roadster include an MP3-compatible DAB sound system, polished stainless steel rollover bars, front & occupant head airbags, along with rear parking sensors.

As we mentioned, the base Mini Roadster costs 18,020 pounds, followed by the S version which is available for 20,905 pounds, while the SD is 21,630. The high-end Mini Roadster JCW will set you back at least 24,860 pounds.
