Special edition GMC Yukon and Sierra heading to NY Auto Show
2012 is the year when GMC celebrates a century of existence and in order to commemorate this event, the automaker is going to bring to this year’s edition of the New York Auto Show a Heritage Edition for the Yukon and Sierra. This special edition brings commemorative exterior badges that sport the original GMC logo design which was introduced back in 1912.
The Sierra pickup truck will come with chrome door handles, door moldings, embroidered front floor mats and headrests, 20-inch alloy wheels, along with adjustable pedals, rear park assist, ez-lift locking tailgate, universal home remote, rear wheelhouse liners, along with a rear-vision camera.
The Yukon features with 10-way leather memory seats, embroidered floor mats and front headrests, power-operated liftgate, heated second-row seats with power release, 20-inch alloys and heated side mirrors.
The trucks are going to be sold in three colors, including Onyx Black, White Diamond (a $995 extra), along with the new and bespoke Heritage Blue (a $195 extra). This Heritage Edition increases the price of the Sierra by $2,645, while the Yukon is $1,970 and the Yukon XL is $1,820 more expensive.
