Spy shots – Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Break
Our colleagues from WCF have managed to take a few spy shots with the upcoming Shooting Break version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS. The prototype you see in these photos was doing some testing on the Nurburgring track and was wearing camouflage at the back. A preview of this model was introduced by the German carmaker back in 2010 during the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
Most likely, the engine lineup will be borrowed from the regular CLS so expect to find a 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model that offers 201 hp (204 PS / 150 kW); a 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with 262 hp (265 PS / 195 kW); a 350 BlueEFFICIENCY version with 302 hp (306 PS / 225 kW); along with a more powerful 350 BlueEFFICIENCY model that pumps out 402 hp (408 PS / 300 kW).
The car will probably be a little bit more expensive than the standard CLS and it is expected to arrive in the dealerships in Europe this summer.
